Field Limit Guard — Support

We want Field Limit Guard to be dependable and easy to live with. If something is not working, or you have a question or a feature request, we are happy to help.

Contact

Email hello@ariacode.dev. We aim to reply within two business days.

What to include

To help us resolve issues quickly, please include:

  • Your Jira site URL (for example, your-team.atlassian.net).
  • A short description of what you expected and what happened instead.
  • The tab you were on (Overview, Inventory, or Report) and, if relevant, the field name involved.
  • A screenshot, if the issue is visual.

Please do not send issue content or personal data — we never need it, and the app never reads it.

Common questions

Why are some fields marked “managed”? Fields owned by Jira or installed apps (for example Sprint, Epic Name, or Service Management fields) cannot be deleted, so the app marks them as managed and keeps them out of cleanup candidates.

Does it check automation rules? No. Automation rules and workflow conditions are not inspected — review those manually before deleting a field. See the documentation for details.

Will it delete anything? No. The app is read-only. It reports and exports; it never modifies your Jira.
