Privacy Policy

Aria (the “Service”) is a personal productivity assistant for AI coding sessions. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and how to remove it. It is plain English on purpose. Where it conflicts with the GDPR or any other applicable law, the law wins.

What we collect

  • Account identity. Email address and display name provided by our authentication provider when you sign in.
  • Your content. The coding sessions, tasks, meeting notes, and related items you create or sync to your account. This is the bulk of the data and it belongs to you.
  • Operational data. Records needed to make the Service work, including identifiers of devices you have connected and timestamps of when you last used them.
  • Diagnostic logs. Errors captured to help debug problems with your account. We do not log passwords or payment details.

What we do with it

  • Render and operate the application you signed in to use.
  • Send your prompts and content to large-language-model providers so they can produce the responses and summaries you asked for. We do not train models on your content.
  • Maintain reliability and security of the Service.

Sub-processors

Aria relies on third-party providers to operate. Each processes some of your data on our behalf:

  • Clerk. Authentication and account management.
  • Neon. Database hosting, EU region.
  • Vercel. Web hosting and serverless infrastructure.
  • Anthropic. Large-language-model provider.
  • PartyKit. Real-time messaging for live updates and collaboration.

Where the data lives

The primary database is in the EU. Requests to language-model providers may transit other regions chosen by those providers.

Your rights

  • Access and export. Settings › Account › Download JSON export produces a full machine-readable copy of everything tied to your account.
  • Erasure. Settings › Account › Delete my account permanently removes your data and your account identity.
  • Revoke device access.Settings › CLI tokens lists every connected device and lets you revoke each.

Retention

We keep data for as long as your account exists. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no soft-delete grace period.

Cookies

Aria uses session cookies to keep you signed in. No analytics or advertising cookies.
